I've spent the better part of two decades working across two crafts that, on the surface, look quite different — Assistant Directing on set and editing in the suite.
Crew on set are often surprised to learn I enjoy turning their long days into short clips.
Post clients are often surprised to learn I feel equally comfortable before dawn at unit base getting the day sorted.
Both groups think the other job sounds terrible.
The throughline for me is the same. Taking something complex and making it work.
Whether I'm keeping a long-form drama on schedule or cutting branded content in the suite, I bring the same calm, considered approach to every project. I'm comfortable with creative people and operational people — and most comfortable in the room where both need to talk to each other.
